Porsche 959 and 300SL Gullwing help Coys Auction make over €8 million

International auctioneers Coys have achieved massive results, in excess of €8 million, at their recent Techno-Classica auction in Essen, Germany, on Saturday 18th April.

The auction, held at the largest classic car show in Europe, featured vehicles such as a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing (sold for €1,088,405), a 1988 Porsche 959 Coupe (€904,500) and a 1938 BMW 328 Roadster (€556,170).

Other highlights of the classic car auction included a 1971 Maserati Ghibli 4.9SS Spyder (€319.652), a 1963 Ferrari 250 GTE (€368.888), 1969 Porsche 911 S 2.2 Targa (€120,200), a 1960 Mercedes-Benz 190SL (€131,660), 1995 Porsche 993RS (€333,080), a 1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GT (€355,460), a 1980 BMW M1 (€461,765) and a 1960 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II Drophead Coupe by H.J. Mulliner (€284,963).
