Solihull has been the home of the Land Rover for over 60 years. The Experience Centre is located right at the heart of the facility and allows you to have an exclusive behind the scenes insight of these iconic 4×4 vehicles.
Have a guided tour at the production facilities then explore 15 acres of land that has been crafted over time to make the ultimate test track. During the tour, you’ll visit every stage of the production process, starting with one of the largest sheet metal presses in the world which exert thousands of tonnes of pressure to form the body panels. You’ll discover how our world leading all-terrain technology is assembled and packaged into the final vehicles.
Finally, get behind the wheel or experience an impressive demonstration with our expert instructors, included in our Silver and Gold tours. The Solihull demonstration areas have a wide variety of terrains, both natural and man made. The Jungle Track is a nature refuge which will fully immerse you in another world, and the Adventure Zone is a collection of obstacles which are specifically designed to showcase the most extreme aspects of Land Rover capability. Experience a 45 degree downhill slope, articulations, side slopes, our swing bridge and more.
Driving Adventures
Half Day
Enjoy half a day with us, explore our tracks and test yourself against the terrain. Leave with a sense of adventure and experience the full capability of a Land Rover of your choice. Tackle steep, slippery slopes, drive through deep water and along the twists and turns of our dense woodland.
Full Day
An adrenaline packed day in beautiful surroundings. Plenty of time behind the wheel and the chance to explore the more remote areas of our woodland tracks. Our most popular driving activity allows you to drive as many miles and tackle as many obstacles as possible.
Factory Tours
Bronze
Enjoy an exclusive three-hour tour of the home of Land Rover. Tours operate from Monday to Thursday beginning at 9am and 1pm and Friday at 9am. All participants must be over the age of 10.
Silver
With the Silver tour, once you’ve seen the vehicles built from the ground up, experience an impressive off-road demonstration from one of our expert instructors. We’ll expose you to different terrains both natural and man-made, all designed to demonstrate the jaw-dropping ability of every Land Rover model. One tour per day starting at 9am and finishing at noon. All participants must be over the age of 10.
Gold
The gold package includes the factory tour, a demonstration drive from one of our instructors, and then the opportunity to get behind the wheel and try it for yourself. Experience our three driving zones, packed full of off-road challenges and testing obstacles.
