Maserati thrilled the crowds and James Martin with the new GranTurismo Sport at last weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The new GranTurismo Sport is the latest coupé from Maserati and not only offers increased performance, it also has been given a makeover with a smoother, sporty restyle. Its V8 4.7 litre engine now delivers 460 hp and 520 Nm of torque, shifting this Maserati from 0 to 62 mph in 4.7 seconds (4.8 seconds for the MC Auto Shift version).
This new GranTurismo Sport is available in two versions: the MC Shift (which was driven at the Goodwood Festival of Speed) it features a 6 speed manual robotised gearbox with a transaxle layout, and the MC Auto Shift, fitted with a 6-speed automatic gearbox by ZF.
Celebrity chef James Martin was the first one to get behind the wheel of the GranTurismo Sport. A collector of both classic and modern supercars James made the most of the Maserati’s V8 as he experienced the Goodwood Hill.
