New Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 Concept at Geneva Motor Show

New Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 Concept at Geneva Motor Show

Bentley has unveiled the future direction of its luxury and performance cars at the Salon International De L’auto 2015 –  the Geneva Motor Show – with the Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 concept.

The concept is a British interpretation of a high performance two seater sportscar. From the racing success of the company’s early years to the international motorsport success of today, ‘speed’ is part of Bentley’s DNA. This inspiration is expressed throughout the EXP 10 Speed 6, where iconic Bentley design cues are fused with progressive craftsmanship techniques and modern technologies.

“Making its global debut at the Geneva Show, the Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 is the ultimate expression of our vision for Bentley’s future – a powerful, exquisite and individual concept. This one car showcases modern automotive design, highly skilled British handcrafting, the finest materials and advanced performance technology. This is not just a new sports car concept – but the potential Bentley of sports cars – a bold vision for a brand with a bold future,” comments Wolfgang Dürheimer, Chairman and Chief Executive of Bentley Motors.

The Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6

The exterior design of EXP 10 Speed 6 is an expression of muscular, athletic surfaces inspired by the aerodynamic shapes of aircraft fuselages and wings. The ethos of the design was to develop contemporary interpretations of Bentley styling cues, which have been brought together with beauty and precision. The result is a coupe of clean, modern surfaces whilst remaining unmistakably Bentley.

New Style and Technology for Luxury GT

Copper elements are used as accents to both exterior and interior features to highlight the performance hybrid potential of the concept’s advanced new powertrain. Performance goals including top speed are set to challenge competitors and define a new segment benchmark.

Every exterior material and each individual detail is designed to modern Bentley style. Cutting-edge 3D metal printing technology has allowed the grille mesh, exhausts, door handles and side vents to be delivered with micro-scale design detail precision. The iconic Bentley mesh grille, for example, is no longer a flat plane of latticework but includes varying depth with a complex 3D geometry only visible when viewed at an angle. Bentley’s renowned quilted leather has inspired three dimensional texture to the precision glass of the headlamps.

Bentley’s Most Performance-Orientated Luxury Cabin

The inspiration for the interior comes from the continuous line that runs around the cabin, driving through the console and into two symmetrical wings before flowing into the door and looping back into the console armrest. Two elegant quilted sports seats are positioned either side of the narrow centre console which houses exquisite driver controls and a highly intuitive 12” touch screen. These features combine futuristic technology seamlessly with progressive Bentley craftsmanship.

Each detail has taken core Bentley interior DNA principles and moved them forwards. For example, the classic and purposeful Bentley knurled surface is a feature throughout the controls of the car, but now created using steel and copper together to create a two-metal 3D texture.

Continuing the fusion of traditional materials and contemporary design statements, the doors of EXP 10 Speed 6 feature 3D quilting, milled directly in to solid straight-grain cherry wood. Each resulting diamond is finished with a copper centre.

Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 Centre Console

The centre console integrates digital information with tactile controls via a curved touch screen housed in an aluminium frame. The fascia instruments deploy from a flat position into the drivers view as the car is started using the floating “B” button integrated in to a non-symmetrical gear lever finished in aluminium, copper and cherry wood. A mechanical rev counter and digital display combine to provide the perfect balance of modern driver information and analogue beauty.

The rear interior space is divided into two compartments designed to house a specifically designed four-piece luggage set. Like the rest of the interior, the rear has been trimmed by the master craftsmen at Bentley in the highest quality Poltrona Frau leather.

Sales leap by a third for Bentley in 2012

Sales leap by a third for Bentley in 2012

Bentley’s half year results for 2012 show continued strong growth.  Sales are up in every region leading to a global increase of 32% (3,929 cars delivered to customers).

Bentley Sales

The US has re-emerged as Bentley’s number one market with deliveries up by 25.7% (1,140 cars delivered to customers).  Sales in China also remain extremely strong with results up 55.7% (1,059 cars delivered to customers).  However, as predicted, strong demand in both markets has created a real competition and despite China edging ahead at the end of Q1, the Americas retook the lead at the half year point.

  • Six month results up 32%

  • US overtakes China to re-emerge as largest market

  • Sales of Bentley’s flagship Mulsanne up 30%

Bentley’s flagship Mulsanne sold strongly in both markets and saw an overall increase of 30% as the Diamond Jubilee Special Edition and Mulliner Driving Specification became available to customers.  At the same time, the new Continental GT underscored its popularity with customers around the world.  Deliveries of the premium coupé, which is now available with both W12 and V8 engines, increased by 48.5%.

Bentley’s strong performance in its two largest regions was underpinned by an increase in sales in all other regions.  In Europe results were up 22.9% with 607 deliveries to customers, and in the UK they increased by 4.5% with 557 deliveries to customers.

Wolfgang Duerheimer, Bentley’s Chief Executive said:

“Our half year results show strong growth for Bentley in every single global region.  The competition between the Americas and China continues and we are watching closely to see who will emerge as the largest region in 2012.

“Sales are being driven up by our flagship Mulsanne which is up 30% following strong interest in the US and China.  We are also pleased to see the continued growth of the new Continental GT W12, our pinnacle performance coupé.

“I am very optimistic about the future for Bentley. We are gaining more momentum every month due to the strong performance of our global dealer network, the appeal of our existing model line to customers and the exciting future models like the Continental GT Speed we have in the pipeline.”

Further afield Bentley saw deliveries increase by 47.9% in the Middle East (346 cars).  Results were also up some 52.6% in Asia Pacific and 114.3% in Japan.

Fastest Bentley GT Speed to debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed

Fastest Bentley GT Speed to debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed

The fastest production Bentley model ever, the Continental GT Speed coupe is to debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The new 205 mph (329 km/h) GT Speed will be driven up the Goodwood Hill, twice a day by the modern-day Bentley Boys Juha Kankunnen, Guy Smith and Derek Bell.

Bentley believe that this new flagship will appeal to driving enthusiasts who place a high value on outright performance, agile handling, distinctive design and sporting luxury.

The new Continental GT Speed has an up-rated version of the unique Bentley 6-litre, 48-valve, four-cam, twin turbocharged W12 engine. For this new flagship model the W12 develops 625 PS (616 bhp/460 kW) at 6000 rev/min and 800 Nm of torque to deliver supercar performance and swift overtaking capability. The 0-60 mph sprint is reported as 4.0 seconds (0-100 km/h in 4.2s) and the top speed of the GT Speed is 205 mph (329 km/h).

There is a new close-ratio ZF eight-speed automatic transmission to transfer the uprated power to the road in the new GT Speed. This state-of-the-art gearbox delivers smooth, swift changes through intelligent adaptive control software to ensure the perfect combination of speed and refinement. The new gearbox also makes a significant contribution to an overall twelve per cent improvement in fuel economy and CO2emissions.

Bentley have added uprated  steering and suspension systems to the chassis with a lowered ride height. On each corner the Bentley wears  unique 21-inch Speed wheels, available in two finishes, and fitted with 275 35 R21 Pirelli PZero ultra-high performance tyres.

Commenting on the new GT Speed, Wolfgang Dürheimer, Bentley’s Chairman and Chief Executive says:

“For nearly a decade, the Bentley Continental GT has defined high luxury, high performance grand touring and the unique W12 engine has been so successful that Bentley is now the world’s largest producer of 12-cylinder engines. The new GT Speed with its harder-edged, sportier character reaffirms this pinnacle positioning and continues to broaden the worldwide appeal of the Continental coupe.”

This new Bentley has some subtle touches to its design from the standard Continental including the dark-tinted matrix front grille, lower air intakes and the ‘rifled’ finish to the exhaust tailpipes.

The new GT Speed has increased levels of performance although according to Bentley they have not made any compromises in comfort, refinement, craftsmanship or quality. As always the cabin has been constructed with the finest natural materials, and this the hand-crafted cabin of the GT Speed features the Mulliner Driving Specification as standard. There are also  a number of signature Speed design cues that combine the Bentley aim of contemporary luxury with a distinctly sporting character.

As will all Continental models the permanent all-wheel drive system is a standard feature with a central Torsen differential, The  new GT Speed provides with its increased power and drive will  provide huge levels of stability and grip whatever the road or weather conditions.

Orders for the new GT Speed are being taken now, with deliveries to commence in October 2012.

Bentley revel new 4×4 SUV concept at Geneva

Bentley revel new 4×4 SUV concept at Geneva

Bentley is offering a vision of the future with a dramatic new Sport Utility Vehicle concept, EXP 9 F, at the Geneva International Salon d’Auto. The Company’s designers and engineers have created a compelling new take on the Grand Touring Bentley – a vehicle that feels equally at home at an opera gala performance, on the sand dunes and the overtaking lane of the autobahn.

  • EXP 9 F all-wheel drive luxury Sport Utility Vehicle concept revealed at Geneva Motor Show
  • Potential for third Bentley model-line alongside Mulsanne and Continental ranges
  • Bold reinterpretation of Bentley design cues in a spacious, versatile and high performance SUV
  • A fusion of contemporary, crafted luxury, advanced in-car technology, commanding driving position and all-terrain capability
  • 6.0 litre, twin turbocharged W12 engine and 8 speed transmission

Unmistakably a Bentley – yet a Bentley like none before it – the EXP 9 F could herald a third Bentley model-line alongside the bespoke Mulsanne and the high performance Continental GT, GTC and Flying Spur.

Today a global luxury brand with a network of 160 dealers from Shanghai to Beverly Hills, Bentley has an increasingly diverse customer base spanning every continent. For many customers, a dramatically styled, Bentley all-wheel drive SUV which combines a spacious, versatile cabin and commanding driving position, with Bentley’s hallmark power, performance, advanced technology and hand crafted luxury, would be a natural choice both on and off-road.

“We are very excited by the potential of a high performance, ultra-luxury Bentley SUV. We know that many Bentley customers already own SUVs, admiring their style, luxury, performance and versatility. With EXP 9 F, Bentley is making a clear statement of intent that we have both the expertise and desire to meet and exceed their expectations.” Wolfgang Dürheimer, Chairman and Chief Executive, Bentley Motors.

BOLD, DYNAMIC, SPORTY DESIGN

  • Key Bentley styling cues re-interpreted for EXP 9 F with innovative detailing
  • Sculptured flowing surfaces emphasise power, muscularity and robustness

From a designer’s perspective, EXP 9 F was a dream project, the chance to create a completely new type of Bentley. From the very beginning, the design team had a clear vision for the new Bentley SUV, as Dirk van Braeckel, Director of Design, explains:

“EXP 9 F had to represent the absolute pinnacle of the sport utility sector, setting a new benchmark for this type of vehicle. The style had to reflect Bentley’s sporting character despite its radically different package and purpose together with sculptured, flowing surfaces in keeping with the Bentley tradition.”

A new class of Bentley allowed the styling team to adopt a more progressive design approach. The exterior is a bold, dynamic statement, combining clean, muscular surfaces with signature character lines, while retaining the qualities of luxury and power – a pure Bentley.

Key Bentley cues such as the matrix grille, round lamps and the strong power-line and haunch along each flank are reinterpreted for EXP 9 F. The ‘hewn from solid’ design language and innovative detailing, emphasise the robust character of this high-luxury SUV.

The designers were inspired not only by the more functional nature of EXP 9 F but by the ‘visible engineering’ of the famous Blower Bentleys. For example, the day-time running lamp apertures also act as the charge cooler air intakes for the twin-turbo W12 engine, each with a dramatic, mesh-covered turbine fan design and ‘rifled’ inner surface finish.

The turbine theme continues with the stunning 23-inch alloy wheels, the design of which complements the sculptured coachwork. The multiple spokes are reminiscent of the shape of turbine fan blades while the centrally mounted wheel nut is a visual reference both to Bentley’s Le Mans racers of the 1920s with centre-lock spinner and to the single nut found on the modern-day Speed 8’s high-tech racing alloys.

At the rear, the swooping lines of the tailgate avoid utilitarian overtones in favour of a distinctly sporting profile, while the ultra-wide, two-part split tailgate offers a high level of versatility when grand touring. The bold design language of EXP 9 F is complemented by twin exhaust tailpipes with ‘rifled’ inner surfaces, their elliptical shapes echoing those of the rear light clusters.

The rear lights are inspired by the forms and details of fighter jet engines, uniquely designed so that they glow from within, spreading their light outwards.

INTERIOR – A FUSION OF LUXURY WITH UTILITY

  • Light, airy, contemporary cabin design with exquisite British ‘sporting’ luxury craft detailing
  • Contemporary use of touchscreen and tailored interface technologies
  • Fresh interpretation of traditional handcrafted materials with highly durable surfaces
  • High degree of practicality including versatile rear cabin layout and full-width, two-piece tailgate

Bentley is renowned for its fusion of extremes – technology and craftsmanship, luxury and performance – and the interior of EXP 9 F expresses the resolution of apparent opposites in its use of materials, techniques and technology, as Dirk van Braeckel explains:

“The challenge for the interior design team was to create a cabin which provides a blend of luxury and utility. The result is a light and airy environment with a commanding view of the road and a versatile layout which showcases Bentley’s craft and design language in an innovative and contemporary way.”

Traditional handcrafted elements such as wood, leather and polished metals such as aluminium, bronze and gunmetal are used to create a sense of British luxury, yet the way they are used sets a fresh and contemporary interior ambience. Soft-touch leather contrasts with highly durable surfaces with the concept car design experimenting with the use of saddle leather for the seat backs, top roll and loadspace – while analogue bezels and dials are paired with TFT ‘virtual’ instrumentation.

Even the luxurious silk wool floormats are reversible – with one side finished in durable, ribbed saddle leather for use when the driver and passengers are dressed for the great outdoors.

The upright dashboard design features a full-width, one-piece wood veneer with a subtly negative surface and instruments with a configurable display. Traditional Bentley ‘bulls eye’ vents have a ‘rifled’ gunmetal inner surface for a more contemporary and functional appearance. The centre console is a blend of functionality and supreme ergonomics with dynamic, architectural layers which help to create a central spine to the cabin. The frame of the console is also a structural component with integrated, sculpted grab handles.

The flowing roof design with a panoramic glass panel is inspired by the roll cages of rally cars, expressing both strength and lightness.

Rear seat passengers can chose between business mode, with generous legroom complete with fold-down keyboard and full internet connectivity via an iPad or tablet or a more reclined position with powered footrest, drinks table and an infotainment screen for movies. When the rear seats are not in use, they can be powered forward to create a larger loadspace for sports equipment or luggage.

The EXP 9 F seating is 4+1, with a rear armrest lifting to reveal a cooled compartment for champagne and glasses. Seats feature a diamond-quilted ‘shoulder line’ in soft-touch leather, echoing the traditional appearance of a British field sport jacket.

At the rear, the lower section of the two-piece tailgate may be used as a viewing bench or picnic table. Bespoke picnic hampers are stowed neatly to either side of the loadspace when not in use, but are located on rails for easy access. An awning extends over the tailgate to protect those seated there; two umbrellas fit either side of the rear luggage area for when the rain clouds sweep in.

COMMANDING DRIVING POSITION AND CONTROL ARCHITECTURE

  • Inspired blend of traditional analogue and TFT touchscreen technology
  • Bespoke interface engineering – tailored to the individual with driver-selectable instrumentation  modes

As befits a Bentley, the EXP 9 F design concept features a near-infinite choice of driver information and entertainment options. However the design and electrical engineering teams sought to avoid creating a cluttered or confusing driver and passenger environment, presenting only the information that each user needs, when they need it.

As a result, EXP 9 F places key driver information such as 3D navigation in a central TFT panel directly in the driver’s line of sight, where it is flanked by two analogue reverse-read dials. Meanwhile controls that are shared between driver and front seat passenger, such as cabin temperature, air vents and entertainment are presented in the central touchscreen and console. The TFT screen deploys from the full-width metal trim to provide a fully integrated extension to the glass surface of the centre console

Three different driving modes – Comfort, Sport and Off-Road – are selectable according to the road environment and type of journey. Thus the driver information TFT panel would be able to switch between satellite navigation on the motorway to a ‘sump cam’ when negotiating a bumpy track.

BENTLEY POWER AND PERFORMANCE

Although the EXP 9 F concept is based around the Bentley 6.0 litre, twin-turbocharged W12 engine with an 8-speed transmission, both the company’s recently-launched 4.0 litre, twin-turbocharged V8 or a hybrid drivetrain could meet the performance requirements of a pinnacle luxury SUV.

Whilst EXP 9 F is primarily intended to investigate new design territory – and all drivetrain options remain under consideration – any Bentley SUV would offer the thunderous performance the marque is renowned for.  The W12 6.0 litre powertrain, for example, could develop 600bhp and 800 Nm of torque with key performance indicators like the top speed and 0-60mph sprint time all setting new benchmarks for the SUV sector.

EVALUATION, REFINEMENT AND FUTURE PLANNING

When the first generation Continental GT was unveiled in 2003 it represented the renaissance of Bentley as a global luxury icon, subsequent launches such as Mulsanne, Continental Flying Spur saloon and the new Continental GT have seen the Bentley brand growing from strength to strength.

EXP 9 F represents the chance to take Bentley values of design, craftsmanship and engineering excellence into what would be – literally – new terrain for the brand. Bentley’s experience with the all-wheel drive Continental range makes the concept of a Bentley SUV a natural progression for the company.

Customer and public reaction will be analysed following the unveiling of EXP 9 F at Geneva 2012, with the aim of refining the concept further. Above all, Bentley will be listening carefully to the reaction of customers and potential customers throughout the world, prior to making any definitive commitment to production.

“A Bentley Grand Tourer doesn’t necessarily have to be a coupé, a convertible or a saloon – it could equally well be an SUV. What’s important is that it should be true to Bentley’s brand values and in line with the desires and needs of our customers.”– Alasdair Stewart, Member of the Board, Sales and Marketing.

Bentley show the new Continental GTC at Qatar Motor Show

Bentley show the new Continental GTC at Qatar Motor Show

Bentley have today unveiled, for the first time in Doha, the new Continental GTC at the Qatar International Motor Show.

The all new Bentley Continental GTC Convertible features an even more spacious and sumptuous hand-crafted cabin, with soft-touch leather hides, an extensive range of wood veneers, cool-touch metals and deep-pile carpets. Now with a more powerful 575PS 6.0 litre, twin-turbocharged W12 engine as well as a new QuickShift transmission, enabling faster gear changes than ever before for the Continental.

Alasdair Stewart, Member of the Board for Sales and Marketing, Bentley Motors, said:

“We are delighted to be here in Qatar with the new GTC. It has always been the most emotional model in the Continental range and a showcase for Bentley design. With its tailored soft top, the GTC is a pure British convertible true to those classic Bentleys of the past. However, the technology, performance and overall design excellence invested in this model means that we are now writing a new chapter for the Bentley convertible driver.”

Taking cues from its GT coupe sibling launched last year, the new Continental GTC builds on the highly successful foundation of the previous cabriolet, which premiered in 2006. The Bentley design and engineering teams have improved virtually every aspect of the iconic convertible with an uncompromising focus on quality.

The other featured car at the Qatar Motor Show is the Bentley Mulsanne, which continues to do exceptionally well in the Middle East.

The new Mulsanne is a thoroughly modern flagship that captures the essence of the Bentley marque. Elegant yet distinctly sporting in character, it delivers effortless performance from the classic 6.75 litre V8 engine whilst within its sumptuous cabin advanced technology sits discreetly with handcrafted luxury. It represents the pinnacle of British luxury motoring which continues to attract substantial interest in the Middle East with the market now accounting for 15% of global sales.

The Qatar International Motor Show comes as Bentley bounces back to pre-recession levels of demand. Sales were up 37% globally in 2011 to 7003 cars with sales accelerating as the year progressed. December saw 1059 cars delivered to customers (up 69% on the same month in 2010), the best month since Bentley’s pre-recession record of 2007 and the second best month ever.

The Middle East region remained stable – a positive outcome considering the Arab Spring affected confidence at the beginning of the year. Sales recovered throughout the year, however, with record monthly sales from June through to October resulting in an annual increase of around 3% to 566 cars sold – the second highest year for Bentley sales in this region. Qatar retained its position as the third largest market in the Middle East with 70 cars sold during 2011.

This sales growth was led by strong demand for the new Continental GT and the Bentley Mulsanne – for which the Middle East remains one of the most important markets in the world.

Demand for these Bentley models is expected to continue in 2012 and, with the arrival of the new GTC, double digit growth should be maintained. Watch this space!

Breitling and Bentley bring you the Ice-Speed Record watch

Breitling and Bentley bring you the Ice-Speed Record watch

Breitling and Bentley have produced a chic winter accessory that wont necessarily assist you in your winter driving.

Inspired by Juha Kankkunen’s world-record breaking exploits on the ice, Bentley and Breitling have once again combined British chic and Swiss tradition to create a limited edition chronograph to mark this grand achievement.

Bentley’s most potent and radically-styled convertible ever – the 202mph (325km/h) Supersports ‘Ice Speed Record’ convertible – is a celebration of the world ice speed record set by Finland’s four-time world rally champion Juha Kankkunen in a Bentley Continental Supersports convertible.

The ISR Supersports convertible – just 100 cars will be produced – provides the inspiration for the new timepiece. The Supersports Ice Speed Record commemorative watch is the perfect embodiment of the two companies’ shared passion for prestige and performance. This remarkable combination of handcrafted technology and striking aesthetics is also restricted to 100 and is only available without charge to those who buy the car.

Driving the all-wheel drive, biofuel-powered 6-litre, 12-cylinder Continental Supersports convertible on the perilous frozen Baltic Sea, off the coast of Finland,  Kankkunen achieved a speed of 205.48 mph (330.695 km/h)  eclipsing his own ice speed record of 199.83 mph (321.6 km/h) set in 2007 in the Continental GT.

Look closer, and you’ll see the watch shares many of the same design cues as the limited edition extreme Bentley. The distinctive red detailing. The carbon fibre fascia with dashboard-style dial. The classically knurled finish on the control buttons. Even the carbon fibre presentation box. All combine to create a unique and original timepiece like no other.

Wolfgang Duerheimer, Bentley’s Chairman and Chief Executive, said:

“Juha Kankkunen’s drive was a remarkable achievement and worthy of a very special car. The Continental Supersports ‘Ice Speed Record’ is a true driver’s car that captures that unique Bentley spirit. It offers extreme performance, agility and an extrovert personality, while retaining the refinement, handcrafted luxury and comfort our customers expect.”

It is no coincidence that both watch and car are personalised with the same engraved number, upholding the renowned and time-honoured tradition of genuine exclusivity of both Breitling and Bentley. Highly sought. Pure Bentley and Breitling through and through.

New models boost Bentley global sales although UK growth slow

New models boost Bentley global sales although UK growth slow

Bentley has today confirmed that its global sales for the first half of 2011 have increased by 20% on the same period last year. 2978 cars were delivered to customers in the first six months, the best start to a year by Bentley since 2008.

The surge in sales has been led by demand for Bentley’s newly launched Continental GT and the popularity of the brand in China, where sales have increased by 57% on last year’s figures. 680 cars have been sold in China, a new record for Bentley’s fastest growing market.

Europe and the Americas have also performed strongly. Europe has increased its sales by a quarter to 494 and the Americas up by 23% with 907 cars sold in the first half of 2011. The UK has continued its steady growth, up 6% with 533 cars sold, growth held back only by continuing low consumer confidence. However, Bentley continues to increase its market share in its home market.

Other regions have presented a more mixed picture with Asia-Pacific region down marginally – predominantly due to the decline in the Japanese market as a result of the recent tragic natural disaster – and the Middle East which has also declined slightly as a result of the ongoing political unrest.

The new Continental GT is the latest iteration of Bentley’s iconic Continental design and its new exterior and powerful new engines are setting even higher standards of design, engineering, craftsmanship and dynamic driving.  Its success is re-energising the brand and attracting a new era of Bentley customers.  At the same time demand for Bentley’s flagship model the Mulsanne is also extremely strong and the wider Continental range continues to perform well.

Wolfgang Dürheimer, Bentley’s Chief Executive said: “Interest in our product range is increasing and with our largest markets achieving significant growth we are on track to meet our targets for the full year.”

“It’s an exciting time for Bentley as we continue to invest in new product development, the results of which will be seen for months to come. With more new model launches later this year we foresee this growth continuing into 2012 and beyond.”

Alasdair Stewart, Bentley’s Member of the Board for Sales and Marketing said: “Following last year’s 11% increase in sales, our half-year figures show that Bentley sales are rebounding. Confidence is returning to many markets and we expect this growth to continue as customers around the world take delivery of the new Continental GT.”

It is good news for Bentley although no news of a replacement dealership for the SouthWest yet!
